About
Dev Mindset is a Technology Company incorporated as a Community Interest Company (Social Enterprise) in England 2020. It was setup with the primary aim to benefit those with mental health challenges and autism in the UK. The company was founded by Shaun Vos who has lived experience and qualifications in this speciality.
Our plan is to innovates new technological approaches to supporting those with mental health challenges and autism to live improved lives. We believe this is an area that has been particularly neglected by commercial organisations as the needs of those with mental illness and autism are not widely understood or seen as a profitable market. We hope to bring innovation to this area that will benefit this community and create surpluses that allow further reinvestment to the communities’ benefit.
In time we intend to use our experience to offer our services to companies, third sector bodies and organisations with a community focus including charities, low cost IT solutions and advise. This will be particularly in website and mobile app development where we specialise but will also offer support in other technology specialisms where we can. We will be different to other similar commercial organisations as we will focus more on the minimal cost needs of small business and the third sector rather than a drive to maximise turnover by selling unnecessary services.
Products
Our first smartphone App NeuroSchemas for IOS and Android was launched in June 2021 (version 0.9) targeted at assisting those who identify as Autistic.

Community Benefit
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we are a special type of limited company which exists to benefit the community rather than private shareholders. The company’s activities aim to benefit:
(a) Individuals in the United Kingdom and overseas with direct experience of autism, mental health issues; mental illness; and their families, friends, carers and supporters; and practitioners in health, social care, charities and community organisations.
(b) Supporting the social model of disability for individuals and groups under the Neurodiversity paradigm.
(c) Supporting survivor led movements that embrace the social model of disability which include the lived experience of autism, mental health issues, and mental illness under the scholarly theory of Mad Studies.
